I only melt the wax gently to just at the stage where it is pourable, which is a different temperature depending on what wax you use. It’s easy to tell that the wax is cool enough as it will stick to the pour spout a bit and the flowers will stay in place easily. The wax will cool as soon as it hits the edges.

Hi Stephanie, What temp should the wax be cooled to so it doesn’t dislodge the flowers?

Yes, allow the wax to cool enough that when you pur it, it doesn’t melt the wax on the sides of the jar.

I assume the hot wax melted the wax holding the petals to the side of the jar. Any suggestions?
