This is a problem to those of us who like to grow these beautiful plants from cuttings. This shouldn’t be allowed.

But now a year later, it is doing the same root above soil is about 8 inches and the leaves are bunched upwards and kinda curled up. What do i do?

I can’t find any info on this issue. Got any ideas to help?

Not that I have ever heard of. I have only known of propagating from stems. People do seem to have different methods. When I have done this before, the starter stem and leaf die off and little baby violet plants start growing in the soil around the original leaf.
