Do you put the flowers between two pieces of white paper before putting the card board or boards on to press? Or is it only one piece of paper between the cardboard or wood pressing the flowers between paper and wood?
Thanks

I’ve been using books for a long time and was thinking I would like to make a press. I’ve also been pressing wildflowers and they are so beautiful. This spring and summer here in Northern California has produced such an abundance of wildflowers.

Thanks for all your wonderful posts.
Val

Best,
Cathy

Its been so many years since I’ve done this…actually the last time was when as a child I thought it would be great idea to press flowers between the pages of our family Bible. Oops! Pretty flowers…very not pretty pages! 🤦‍♀️
Thank you for you site…it’s quite inspiring!
