I submerge mine overnight every two weeks. I had a book on it once and that’s what it says to do, and mine are doing great.

Because that’s what’s killing mine .I’m addicted, but gutted at the same time because they keep dieing?

Ha ha. The same thing happened to me. I found a bunch of air plants on discount and quickly became obsessed (and bought our the air plants on discount 😜). Many of them have survived with a couple of soaks. It was neat to watch them perk up. Some one them got root rot. Still learning to navigate air plants.

One of our members posted a photo of a Geode with an air plant in it. I was captivated. Two days later I was at Lowes and there, hanging on one of those plastic strips that hang off the shelves was a strip of little air plants. Of course I grabbed a couple to use wiht my geodes.

So I get home and start researching and I am thunderstruck. WOW. Amazed! I need more.

Thank you for your articles. I soaked those two little bedraggled air plants and they rounded out straightened up. In just a couple days they are different plants!!

Off to order more air plants. Thanks again!!! I will keep reading you.

Thank you for your advice. I do have some dead leaves on some of the plants and I will gently tug at them. Can you cut them? Also a few have dried/dead tips. Should I just leave the tips or should I trim them with scissors or by hand. Thank you. (I have never had an air plant before, so excited to try).

Or you submerge it overnight?

It is not falling apart. Am I gonna loose it or will it revive?

Thanks again,
